  Instead of feeling energized and ready for the New Year like most, I found myself severely burnt out when January 2013 rolled around. Illustrators, especially freelance illustrators like myself are constantly being mentally challenged, from disagreeable clients, financial dilemmas to the ever present self doubt. All these things take their toll on the mind and body and sometimes emotions hit a boiling point where you may feel like there is nothing good left… but there is always hope. When all else fails, hold on to Hope… cheesy? I know, but there you have it. View my process  here . 
 Side note: Starting with this one I will be attempting to crank out quick Illustrations every Monday…  Illustration Mondays  are my way of keeping busy, creative and energized when client work gets stressful. Stay tuned!
